This past weekend, we hosted Word of Life for their annual Teen Retreat. This was the first group, outside of the staff to officially use the new Sky Swing. The Sky Swing is a 40 foot high thrill ride, where a person is attached and pulled up by a group of people. When they release the hook, they go flying over the pond for quite a ride. The photo shows Chris connecting one of the teens into the swing. Summer is getting close and there have been a lot of registrations pouring in. We ask for your continued prayer as we finish out the retreat season in May and gear up for a busy summer. We invite you to drop us a note and tell us how you are doing.
The men’s retreat is about to come to an end =( but we thank God for a great turn out. Hope that these men had a refreshing time here…

Chris celebrated part of his birthday at Outback Steakhouse as a play off of this summer’s camp theme of the “Outback Adventure”! He got a special t-shirt with the Outback camp logo that he designed too.
Chris also had a special birthday at home with his family in Paw Paw! It was a beautiful day and we got a few pictures outside with his niece and nephew.
Chris and I had a wonderful time in Altoona last week at Word of Life’s: Local Church Ministry of “Teens Involved”. We had the opportunity to see teens from different local churches show their God-given talents.
We were two of four drama judges, encouraging teens using their God-given talents in the best way possible. The purpose of this event is to encourage & help Christian teens gain experience in presenting their gifts and abilities for service in ministry to God for His honor & glory within the local church and beyond. Each teen presenter received input and encouragement from the judges. We pray that each of the teens we were with will continue to use their talents for the Lord throughout their lives! ~Johanna
